At AetherCoin, we believe privacy is a fundamental human right. As a decentralized network, our philosophy is "Privacy by Design."
The AetherCoin foundation and wallet software do not collect, store, or sell any personal data. We do not require your name, email, phone number, or government ID to use the AEC network.
Please be aware that all transactions on the AetherCoin blockchain are public. While your identity is hidden behind a cryptographic address, the history of coins moving between addresses is permanent and visible to anyone via a block explorer.
Your wallet files, private keys, and transaction history are stored locally on your device. We never have access to this information. It is your responsibility to secure these files and backups.
If you use third-party services like exchanges or mining pools, they may have their own privacy policies and data collection practices. We encourage you to review their terms separately.
Our dashboard and explorer do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics scripts that compromise your anonymity.
